Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What age group is the workshop for?

A: The workshop is designed for teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18.

Q: Is any prior coding experience required?

A: No, the workshops cater to all skill levels, from beginners to those with prior coding experience.

Q: What skills will my child gain from the workshops?

A: Your child will gain valuable coding skills, improve problem-solving abilities, logical thinking, and enhance their math, science, and cognitive abilities.

Q: Does my child have to attend every week?

A: Not at all! Your child can attend weekly or fortnightly as the curriculum is incredibly flexible, the first step is to get your child to unlock logic step thinking.

Q: Do they receive a certificate of achievement?

A: Absolutely! We suggest attending at least 4 lessons, after which a project will be given to the student to complete. A certificate will be issued as they progress to the next level.

Q: Are the workshops conducted in person or online?

A: The workshops are conducted in person while the material and guides are available online.

Q: What equipment or materials are required for the workshops?

A: We provide all the necessary materials, including Arduino boards and components. Students can purchase their own Arduino boards if they want to take them home to practice on.

Q: How are the workshops structured?

A: The workshops are designed as interactive sessions, where students participate in hands-on coding projects, guided by experienced instructors.

Q: What is the class size for the workshops?

A: To ensure personalized attention and effective learning, we keep the class size small, typically with around 10 to 15 students per session.

Q: Can my child join multiple workshop sessions?

A: Yes, students are welcome to join multiple sessions as each session covers different projects and concepts, providing continuous learning opportunities.

Q: What can a student program once they understand coding?

A: We start with C++ which is a base programming language. Once the student understands the step logic, they can program anything from PLCs, robotics, websites and software. The purpose of these workshops is to unlock their cognitive understanding of base logic.

Q: What coding languages can they then learn?

A: Once a student learns the step logic, their ability to learn new software languages extends significantly. They will then be able to easily grasp popular software such as PHP, Java, Javascript, Python, HTML, CSS, jQuery, SQL, TypeScript, and many more.

Q: Are there any discounts for multiple enrollments or referrals?

A: Yes, we offer discounts for students who enrol in multiple sessions, and we also have referral programs where both the referrer and the referred student can receive discounts.

With the latest advances in technology, and as coders ourselves, we are very well aware of the absolute necessity digital literacy has become.nnThrough our experience in AI implementation and coding, we have adopted a series of workshops to teach, train and develop minds to open their future potential and possibilities by learning how to read, write and implement source code.nnThese classes are proudly brought to you by the team who developed Explora Travel App and PepperPot ONLINE.nnTo do this, we have incorporated a wonderful micro-processor called Arduino, which requires software knowledge, which is then channelled to perform real-life functionality, such as turning on lights, moving motors, switching devices, and many more applications.nnThe reason for this is so that our students can put into practice what they learn in software in “real life applications” and can physically see their achievements.
