Please note, we do not store any credit card or banking details. We rely on tried and trusted Financial Service and Paygate providers to manage payments.
Returns Policy
1. Introduction
We strive to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. If for any reason you are not entirely happy with your purchase, we are here to help.
2. Returns
You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned, including:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers)
- Personal care items (e.g., toothbrushes, skincare products)
4. Refunds
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original payment method. You will receive the credit within a certain number of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
5. Delivery Costs
- If the return is due to our error (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item), we will cover the delivery costs associated with returning the item and refund the original delivery cost.
- If the return is not due to our error (e.g., you changed your mind), you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning the item. The original delivery cost is non-refundable.
6. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same one, please contact us at hello@exploratravel.co.za.
7. Delivery
Please ensure you have entered the correct delivery address or location codes. Additional costs may be incurred if the wrong address or location code was entered and we have to reship your order, and will be at your (the client’s) cost. Cancellation of the order will not apply if we have to redirect your order.
8. Cancellations
If you would like to cancel, please contact us within 20 minutes of your order. If your order has been shipped or dispatched, we cannot refund the shipping nor can we be liable for the return shipping fees. You (the client) will need to settle these fees. Once we have received the cancelled order in our offices and unopened, we will refund the item costs only.
10. Late Delivery
We rely on 3rd Party delivery services and we cannot be held liable for any late deliveries. No refunds will be applicable for deliveries that have not arrived on time.
