Before reassembling, ensure that the evaporator ice tray is not scaled. If there is scale, this will make the area rough and will cause friction when the slab is going to harvest.

To clean the ice tray, use a paintbrush and use the de-scaler to brush the tray. Do not do this if there is ice in the ice bin as the solution will sour the ice and render it useless.

Once you have brushed the ice tray with the solution, you can rinse it off with clean water.

Wash the bin out as this can become incredibly dirty. Proper food safety must apply with ice too!

With everything clean, you can start assembling the unit in the exact reversal.

Once all the components are clean and in place, you can go through the pre-start checklist which is explained in the next lecture.
